Plain-English guides to AI at work.

Short, honest guides for owners deciding where AI fits in their business. What agents actually do, which tasks to automate first, and where your data should be processed. No hype, no jargon, no invented numbers.

Why we write these

Good decisions need plain answers.

Most writing about AI is aimed at engineers or at investors. Very little of it is written for the person who runs a ten-person service business and wants to know one thing: will this save my team time, and what could go wrong?

These guides are for that person. Each one answers a question we hear on discovery calls, explains the trade-offs in everyday language, and tells you what to watch out for. Where we use examples, we label them as examples. Where something depends on your business, we say so instead of guessing.

You don't need to hire anyone to use them. Read them, run the exercises with your team, and you'll be better prepared to judge any AI proposal, including ours.

The guides

Start with the question you have.

New to AI? Start with agents. Know what's slowing you down? Go to the scoring method. Handle sensitive files? Read the local vs cloud guide first.

By topic

From reading to building.

Each guide connects to the services where we put these ideas into practice. If a topic matches a problem you have today, these are the pages to read next.

AI agents

Agents read what comes in, decide using your rules and act inside your existing tools: replying to inquiries, triaging inboxes, qualifying leads. A person approves anything that matters.

AI agents & assistants

Workflow and CRM automation

The predictable steps between your apps: new customers created once and synced everywhere, follow-ups sent on time, reminders that go out without anyone remembering to send them.

Workflow automation CRM & follow-up

Private and local AI

AI models running on hardware you control, for client files, patient records and financials that should be processed where they already live.

How we write

What you can expect from these guides.

honest

No invented numbers

We don't quote statistics we can't stand behind. Examples are labelled as examples, and your real numbers come from looking at your real work.

practical

Things you can do this week

Every guide ends with steps you can take without buying anything: a list to keep, questions to ask, a checklist to run with your team.

balanced

Limits included

AI is useful and it has real failure modes. We cover what it's bad at and how good systems guard against it, not just what it can do.

Rather talk it through?

Bring the question you're stuck on. We'll look at how your business runs today and tell you, in plain English, where AI would help and where it wouldn't. No cost, no obligation.
